Sixty percent of Kaiken's Cabernet Sauvignon spent 8 months in American oak. Purple-colored, it has a pleasing perfume of cedar, spice box, espresso, and black currant. Medium- to full-bodied, smooth-textured, and tasty, it has lots of spicy black fruit, good depth, and a medium-length finish. Drink it over the next 4 years. Dark and toasty, with plum, fig and raisin notes that linger on the fleshy, smoky finish. Drink now.
